BC SPCA – Speaking for Animals
British Columbia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (BC SPCA) is to protect and enhance the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia.
SAINTS was started in December 2004 after volunteers at other animal shelters saw many senior animals spending their last days in a shelter or pound. From the time they opened their doors, the number of animals in need has been astounding and ever-growing. When SAINTS moved into its first location it started with 16 cats, 12 dogs and 2 rabbits. SAINTS has since found its permanent home on 3 beautiful acres in Mission, BC. Photos courtesy of SAINTS.
Become the Voice
“BTV” was created to broaden personal awareness while choosing to be a voice for animal welfare, health and environmental issues. Our food and everyday products are effecting our health and the planet, the more knowledge we have about our choices, the more successful we will be in our ability to survive, avoid suffering, illness and disease. The best way to do this is by developing healthier food production and choices, become better consumers and broaden our overall knowledge. Sabrina, I am very proud of you for the passion and drive you openly express on these issues through your ‘BTV’ site. I had no idea when we met a decade ago that our paths would lead us to such similar interests. The intensity of caring and compassion you demonstrate for the environment, animal rights, and vegetarianism, along with your newest interest in photography, has become a personal source of inspiration. Hugs!

Elizabeths Wildlife Center
The Center is now a fully functioning, independent facility, capable of handling hundreds of injured/orphaned wild birds and animals. Each year they admit over 1000 birds/animals and approximately 50% are fully rehabilitated and released. Each animal that enters our facilities is assessed, given necessary treatment, rehabilitated, and if fully recovered, released to their natural environment.
